We had a fantastic time playing to such an appreciative audience who were really in tune with our set. I think it was apt that the sun came out as we hit the stage :)
I would also like to say a special thank you to the organisers for inviting us to play and to the guys behind the scenes who looked after us so well. On a more intergalactic note it was great to see Luke Skywalker dropping by our set and even buying a copy of the album! May the force be with you.... to the Acoustic Kitchen gig on Friday. What a fabulous evening and lovely
atmosphere! It was great to catch up with everyone again and a real
treat to be playing alongside the very talented Abi Moore.

For the track 'This ain't love' I was trying out my new 'customised' beat pedal and I was really chuffed to pull it off without breaking a hamstring or falling over! - We had a great time playing in Lincolnshire last Friday and it was
lovely to be made so welcome by Abi and her loyal fans. After a lot
of head scratching we did eventually manage to get the double bass in
the car which was rather lucky as it sounded amazing and added some
real magic to the tracks. Thank you so much to everyone who made it
along - you made the evening a real success!

The venue is the cosy and historic Riverside Restaurant (just off Tuesday Market Place) and this event is always a real treat to play. Pete Kitchen has been working tirelessly to bring quality acoustic music to King's Lynn over the last three years and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible. Peter has been nominated for two awards at the Exposure Music Awards East 2009 to be held at The Junction, Cambridge on November the 10th. He has been nominated for both Best Male Artist and Best Pop Song for 'Can't help Smiling'. The glitzy event is to be headlined by this year's winner of the Mercury Music Prize.
